How do I resolve the error "Invalid value for field Input Type" when uploading components onto the Edit Payslip screen via Bulk Actions?
This feature is available on all PaySpace editions
The error "Invalid value for field Input Type" will display if no value was inputted in the "Input Type" column/cell or if the selected input type is for a different component and then the component was changes.
1. Open the Bulk Actions Excel spreadsheet and check if the "Input Value" column/cell was completed.
2. Open the Bulk Actions Excel template and check if the input type matches the input type options displayed next to the selected component as per the below example, the input type was selected as days as the component initially selected was, for example, "Basic Pay" and was then changed to "Overtime @1.5".
The below displays the input type options for overtime at 1.5 and the selected input type "Days".
