How do I remove an income base that has been setup for a component?

This feature is available on all PaySpace editions

When adding a new component with an income base formula (defined income), the calculation can refer to various sources in the payroll for example, a specific component, the employee’s hourly rate or the employee’s package, to name a few. Besides including source types, you can also advise an amount in the calculation.

To remove a component's defined income, change the number captured in the "how many sources make up this defined income ?" field to 0  and select the "create lines" and "update accumulation" buttons respectively.

      Navigate > Configuration > Payroll > Payroll Config > Payroll Components

      

      

      

Alternatively, a delete button has been added to the income accumulation option, and by doing so it will remove the income base and revert back to the system's predefined income base.

      

      

Note! Deleting a component's income accumulation option will not be tracked on the audit trail window.
