How do I reinstate an employee?
A terminated employee can only be reinstated resuming the record in the United Kingdom.
The HMRC states if an employee leaves and is re-employed within the same company, a different payroll ID (employee number) is applicable. Reinstated employees should start their year-to-date information at zero.
Navigate > Employee > Basic Information > Tax Profile
Note!
A different Payroll ID should be used even if the employee is re-employed in a different tax year.
