How do I ensure that an employees Medical Aid dependants are considered as a dependant on the their deduction?
Ensure that the dependant is added on the employee's Dependant screen & that the "is this a medical aid dependant?" is enabled.
Navigate > Employee > Basic Information Dependants
The dependant will then be reflected on the Medical Aid component on the employee's Recuring Payroll Components screen.
Navigate > Empoloyee > Payroll Processing > Recurring Payroll Components > Deductions
Note! If the dependant is not reflected on the Medical Aid component on the dependant screen, they will not be inculded as a dependant in the Medical Aid calculation.
