How do I configure the system to notify employees when leave is due to forfeit?
This feature is available on all PaySpace editions.
By default, a notification will display on the Leave Widget on the ESS Dashboard, 60 days before the employee’s annual leave expires.
The below leave setting can be enabled to send an email notification to employees regarding their soon-to-be forfeited leave. However, this is only applicable to the Annual Leave parameter.
Navigate > Configuration > Human Resources > Leave Administration > Leave Settings > Employee self service
Important!
- One reminder email will be sent as soon as the leave forfeiture date falls within the number of days specified on the company setting.
- The default of 60 days will apply if the company setting is activated and no number of days are specified.
- The notification will be sent to the email address on the employee's Basic Profile screen.
