How do I configure a component to always calculate regardless of if there is basic pay present on the employees payslip?

This feature is available on all Deel Local Payroll powered by payspace payroll editions

A component can be configured to calculate on employees' payslips regardless of if the Basic Pay component is displayed. 

      Navigate > Configuration > Payroll > Payroll Config > Payroll Components > Payslip options
