How do I add a tax certificate number prefix?
A tax certificate number prefix has to be specified per frequency so that the system generates unique tax certificate numbers. If this is not done, the CSV files will overwrite one another when imported into SARS e@syFile™ Employer.
Navigate > Configuration > Payroll > Payroll Config > Pay Frequencies > General
Important! Each frequency must have a unique tax certificate number prefix.
