How do I add a SDL exemption reason to an employee's record?

This feature is available on all Deel Local Payroll powered by payspace payroll editions

The Skills Development Levy (SDL) exemption reason can be configured on employee level on the Basic Profile screen.

      Navigate > Employee > Basic Information > Basic Profile > Employee

      

Important

Enabling the SDL exemption reason on company level will apply to newly onboarded employees. An existing employee's SDL exemption reason will need to be configured on the Basic Profile screen.
