Ghana - Increased Minimum Wage
The Ghanaian government has announced an increase to the minimum wage from 14.88 GHS to 18.15 GHS. This is effective as of January 1st, 2024.
This increment will have a direct effect on the SSNIT maximum and minimum insurable earnings as well as the minimum and maximum contributions payable to SSNIT for 2024.
More information will follow upon promulgation of this increase.
