Ghana | How to apply the marriage tax relief
Marriage reliefs are provided to resident individuals who take care of His/Her spouse or care for a minimum of two children.
To apply the relief within a tax calculation the spouse is required to be indicated from the Dependents screen entry.
Navigate to Employee > Basic Information > Dependents
Within a dependent entry the combination of dependent type and Marriage status should be selected from the drop down options provided.
Once saved the Marriage relief calculation will automatically be included within the employee payslip calculations.
