About
Flexibility in configuring minimum wage rates is essential, as these rates vary across sectors and industries in accordance with applicable labour law. To accommodate this, customers can now configure minimum wage rates at company level using the Component Tables Configuration feature.
Previously, all minimum and maximum ceilings were maintained at bureau level only. The system has been enhanced to allow these limits to be processed at company level as well, giving customers greater control and flexibility in how minimum and maximum wage thresholds are applied across their payroll environment.
This function is also known as a Table Builder Configuration, since the user can set up different tables for the Minimum Wage Rate categories. To establish if a Minimum Wage Rate note component has been set up to provides for this flexibility, please refer to the release notes under “What’s New” to confirm if this functionality is available.
To add a new minimum wage rate, access the Component Tables Configuration screen.
