Can I link a recovery rule to a component?

This feature is available on all Deel Local Payroll powered by payspace editions

Yes. A recovery rule can only be linked to Deduction components.

You can define how a deduction component should be recovered if an employee has insufficient earnings to absorb the affected deduction. The following recovery options are available:

      Navigate > Config > Payroll > Payroll Config > Payroll Components > Deductions > extra options

The "recover in next period:" checkbox is available if the recovery rule is Take All Or Nothing or Take As Much As Possible. The outstanding amount will then be recovered when the next run opens.
