Can I copy a security role?

This feature is available on all PaySpace editions

Yes. Security roles can be copied or duplicated on the Security Roles screen, either within the same company or across other companies in the group.

Navigate > Config > Security > Security > Security Roles

Step 1: Click on the "Copy Roles" button in the top right corner of the screen.


Step 2: Select the check box of the security role that you would like to copy.

     

Step 3: Search the company name you want to copy the security role to and select the checkbox next to it.

 

Step 4: Click on the "Create copy " button at the bottom of the screen.


When navigating to the company where the security role was copied to, you will notice that the security role includes the description "- Copy 1" to make it easier to identify.
