Can employees be notified when their annual leave is due to forfeit on ESS?
This feature is available on all PaySpace editions.
Yes. By default, the system will send a reminder email every 10 days up until the forfeiture date. Specify a different number in the "Show forfeiture on ESS, and send email reminder this number of days before expiry" field, under the Employee self service section on the Leave Settings screen, to change the number of days,
Note!
This is only applicable to the Annual Leave parameter.
Navigate > Configuration > Human Resources > Leave Administration > Leave Settings > Employee self service
Example:
Number of days captured on company setting: 35
Reminder emails will be sent on these no. of days prior to forfeiture date: 35, 25, 15, 5.
The reminder emails will stop when an employee's "Annual leave balance due to expire" is zero.
