South Africa: Statutory Employment Date Override Flexibility on Transfers
Statutory Employment Date Override
The Statutory Employment Date Override field must be considered when transferring an employee.
Navigate to the employee > Basic Information > Tax Profile > Statutory Fields
Override ‘Terminated For Statutory Reporting’
If the incorrect selection was made when the transfer was processed, the user is able to process an override.
Navigate to the employee > On / Off Boarding > Transfer History
The details pertaining to the transfer are shown on this screen, with a field named Override ‘Terminated For Statutory Reporting’. There are two selections on the right of this field, shown as True False.
If the user selects either True or False then the Terminated For Statutory Reporting field will update, and a confirmation message will appear on the top left of the screen.
